Muscle Imbalances

Sometimes muscle imbalances are a good thing?  Can you think of when?

However over the long term muscle imbalances can put too much stress on joints and lead to injury.  This often occurs when we become slightly de-conditioned and then jump right in to sport.  It is important to have symmetry in the body, and you will be surprised how quickly that symmetry can become asymmetry!
